I was reminded today that in real estate – it’s not about us – the agents or brokers. It’s about the clients. Does that seem simple or obvious? It should be. But to many it’s not.
An agent had a melt down today with me because a buyer rescheduled an appointment. She said the buyer had wrecked her planned day because of the cancellation. It turns out the buyer’s child was sick and she had to put off the showing until another day. Yes the agent was inconvenienced, but so was the buyer with her sick child. Get over it.
Let’s remember what we are doing here. We work for the client. It’s about them, not us.
